AT A GLANCE
Ingredient lists vary by product. Sugar Orchid Body Butter uses a mango- and shea-butter base; Cocoa Tallow Cream contains water, cocoa butter and beef tallow. Soap recipes vary by bar. Always read the exact product page and jar or bar label before use.
What is in Sugar Orchid Body Butter?
Our current full-size Body Butter pages list this base: mango butter, shea butter, avocado oil, fractionated coconut oil, sweet almond oil, isopropyl myristate (IPM), BTMS-50, arrowroot powder and emulsifying wax. Scented products also contain the selected fragrance; consult the label for the specific jar.
| Ingredient group | Role in the formula |
|---|---|
| Mango butter and shea butter | Form the rich butter base and help soften skin. |
| Avocado, fractionated coconut and sweet almond oils | Add emollience and help the product spread. |
| IPM | Helps the formula spread and influences skin feel. |
| BTMS-50, arrowroot and emulsifying wax | Contribute to texture, structure and the feel of the finished butter. |
| Fragrance | Provides the selected scent. |

What is in Cocoa Tallow Cream?
The current Cocoa Tallow Cream product list is: Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Beef Tallow, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Emulsifying Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Stearic Acid, Tocopherol, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, and Fragrance (Parfum).
In everyday terms, this is a water-based cream with aloe and glycerin, cocoa butter and beef tallow, an oil component, texture and emulsifying ingredients, vitamin E, a preservative system, oats, and fragrance.
Cocoa Tallow Cream is not vegan: it contains beef tallow. See Vanilla Cloud Cocoa Tallow Cream for its current product details.
Why soap ingredient lists differ
There is no single ingredient list for every Sugar Orchid soap. Different bars may contain different oils, butters, milk ingredients, botanicals, colorants and fragrances. A salt bar, a tallow soap and a children’s soap should not be assumed to share the same recipe.
Choose your bar from handmade soaps or kids’ soaps, then read that product’s ingredients. If a detail you need is missing or unclear, ask us before ordering.
Fragrance notes are not an ingredient list
Top, middle and base notes describe how a fragrance smells. A vanilla, almond, milk, honey or floral note does not by itself establish that the finished product contains that named ingredient.
Use the ingredient list to check what is in the formula and the scent guide to explore how it smells. These serve different purposes.
Checking a product before you buy
Our Body Butter base lists sweet almond oil. Cocoa Tallow Cream lists oats and beef tallow. Other products have different ingredients, so do not assume an entire collection is nut-free, oat-free, dairy-free, vegan or fragrance-free.
If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, review the exact label and contact us with the product name and ingredient question before purchasing. We do not make a blanket suitability promise for sensitive skin. Patch test a small area before regular use and stop use if irritation occurs.
Common questions
Does Sugar Orchid Body Butter contain sweet almond oil?
The current Body Butter base lists sweet almond oil. Check the exact product label before use, especially if you have an allergy or sensitivity.
Is Cocoa Tallow Cream vegan?
No. Cocoa Tallow Cream contains beef tallow.
Are scent notes the same as ingredients?
No. Scent notes describe the fragrance. They do not replace the ingredient list or prove that a named scent ingredient is in the product.
Where can I find the full ingredients for a soap?
Read the exact soap product page and label. Recipes differ by bar; contact Sugar Orchid before ordering if a detail is unclear.
